Jean M. (Carlson) Woodford, 78 years of age, a life-long resident of East Boston, passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2018.
Cherished daughter of the late Oscar and Natalie (Crowley) Carlson. Beloved wife of William J. Woodford. Loving mother of Renee Finn and her husband Kevin, Kim Doherty and her husband Dan, Jeanine Woodford and Bill Woodford. Adored grandmother of Kevin, Daniel, Janelle, Katie, Ryan and Emily and great-grandmother of Rayn. Caring sister of Walter Carlson and the late Carl Carlson and his wife Marion and sister-in-law of Eddie Woodford and his wife Lee. Cherished aunt of Katherine, John, Lisa, Brian, Karen, Kelly and the late Lori and Kristen. Also survived by her loving pets Echo and Molly.
Family and friends will honor Jean’s life by gathering in Vazza’s “Beechwood” Funeral Home, 262 Beach St. REVERE on Thursday, June 21st from 4PM to 8PM and again at 8:30AM on Friday morning before leaving in procession to Sacred Heart Church in East Boston for a Funeral Mass to be celebrated in her honor at 10AM. Committal is private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Jean’s memory to the Home for Little Wonderers by visiting www.thehome.org
