Obituary for Francine Louise Murphy (Mangino)

Francine Louise Murphy (Mangino) passed away peacefully at her home on April 25th surrounded by her loving family. Born on November 26th, 1948, Francine was a longtime resident of East Boston who loved gardening, reading, traveling, the beach, good food, good wine, and spending time with her family. Francine worked at Mass General Hospital for over 40 years where she developed many close friends. She truly loved her friendships at MGH and often referred to them as her second family. Fran was a devoted mother to Brian Murphy and his wife Jane of Winthrop and Nicole Regan and her husband Bret of Cohasset. Loving Nana to Avery, Emily and Sam whom she cherished. Francine is also survived by her extended family and many loving lifelong friends. A memorial service will be held on April 30th at 10:00am at St. John the Evangelist, 320 Winthrop Street, Winthrop.
