Obituary for Deborah M Scaduto

Scaduto - of Billerica, formerly of East Boston, April 6, 2017. Deborah Scaduto left us peacefully after courageously battling a long illness. Deborah was a Billerica resident for over 44 years after moving from E. Boston.

Loving daughter of the late Frank M. Scaduto and Marion (Carvalho) Scaduto. Deborah worked in retail as a manager for many years before achieving her real dream of helping children and being involved in music. She had the honor of traveling to Africa to help bring school supplies to needy children. Before she got sick, Deborah had long been involved with The Young Performers Club, an organization that nurtures and promotes children of all ages in different music genres. Deborah will be greatly missed by her loving siblings John Scaduto and his wife Dianne of Fl., Sharon DePatto and her husband Kenneth of Saugus, Lee Ann McCarthy and her husband Mark of N.H., Sandra Garcia and Janet Scaduto, both of Billerica. Cherished and loving Aunt to Michael, Krystina, Karla, Nicholas, Anthony, Amanda, Mark and Andrew. Great Aunt to Leah and Ella. Deborah will also be missed by all the children she has helped to acheive their goals and by those whose souls she has touched.

Family and friends will honor Deborah’s life by gathering in Vazza’s “Beechwood” Funeral Home, 262 Beach Street, REVERE on Sunday, April 9 from 3:00P.M. to 7:00P.M. and again Monday morning at 8:00A.M. before leaving in procession to St Anthony’s Church, in Revere for a Funeral Mass to be celebrated in her honor at 9:00A.M. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: The Young Performers Club 218 Boston Street, Suite 204 Topsfield, MA 01983.
